The Allotment Diary: Planting and Produce

After a quick stop in Folkestone to paint an unloved notice board, followed by tea and drying off, we trekked to the allotment.  It rained, a lot.  Still, no watering to be done this time at least!

We were kindly donated some mystery beans, which are now growing in the legume lagoon.  We can’t wait to see what they are, and we hope get to.  Beans seem to be high on the menu for the local slug population!   We also planted two courgette plants, mature enough we hope to survive any hungry visitors.

We also got some produce.  Two radishes, with some more on the way!  The start of a great yield for sure!
